Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct cost reduction analyses, breakdown costs, and analyze market trends to identify savings opportunities.
  2. Negotiate with suppliers/sub-contractors to secure the best prices and minimize costs.
  3. Conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews to maintain and improve supplier quality.
  4. Propose preventive actions using local raw materials to minimize supply chain risks.
  5. Coordinate with other departments to achieve departmental goals and overall company objectives.
  6. Ensure adherence to buying policies and maintain proper documentation with all suppliers.
  7. Collaborate with project engineers to understand procurement requirements.
  8. Ensure timely delivery of purchased materials and address any delays or disruptions promptly.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate records.
  10. Lead and support a team of 4-5 members to meet performance targets.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • Over 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain, with a proven track record in sourcing and cost management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, capable of collaborating across various levels and functions.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable handling large data sets.
  • Proven success in procurement projects, especially in sourcing.
