About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Officer/Executive to join our dynamic team at Brilliant Supply Chain Service (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. This full-time position will be based at our office in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, where you will play a vital role in supporting our import and export logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

• Manage local and international logistics operations, ensuring efficient import/export processes and timely deliveries.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, port and customs authorities, and other logistics partners to facilitate the clearance and delivery of goods.
• Familiarize with the LMW license application and renewal process, including reporting and documentation submission.
• Prepare, verify, and process all necessary documentation, such as customs declarations, invoices, packing lists, HS Codes, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Track and update the status of shipments, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies during the logistics process.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of logistics-related systems and procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to team members as required.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar logistics or import/export role, with knowledge of LMW licensing and SST as an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Mandarin speaking is an added advantage for working with China teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Proficient in logistics and transportation management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Thorough understanding of import/export regulations (local & international), HS Codes, customs clearance procedures, and other logistics processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
