Job Description:

This role is open to remote working within Germany. Successful candidates may be required to travel to a UNiDAYS campus (London, Nottingham, New York or Sydney) on occasion.

The role in a nutshell

As a Fashion Account Director, you will manage strategic relationships with UNiDAYS’ partners, which include prestigious consumer brands and retailers.

You will act as a strategic advisor, managing performance marketing and leveraging core products to develop and sell effective student-specific go-to-market strategies for our premium/enterprise partners. You will create long-term roadmaps to drive high performance and meet strategic priorities.

This is a quota-driven sales role, with KPIs and revenue targets based on account plans.

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Lead account planning with Account Managers, ensuring partner needs align with UNiDAYS’ strategic goals
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key partner stakeholders and sponsors
  • Generate revenue to meet quarterly and annual quotas from commissions and advertising
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify partner needs and align them with our products
  • Exceed campaign goals through large-scale, globally ambitious plans with good ROI
  • Become a product expert and advise on positioning products to partners
  • Develop and deliver in-person product pitches
  • Spend over 50% of your time with partners, virtually and in person
  • Act as an online advertising expert and evangelist for UNiDAYS products
  • Provide insights to internal teams to improve platform offerings
  • Understand and promote marketing to Gen Z/Students
What we need from you
  • Extensive experience in the fashion industry, including roles like merchandising, buying, wholesale, or related fields, with deep knowledge of the German fashion market
  • Proven sales and marketing expertise in the fashion sector, with strategic marketing experience in Germany focusing on brand building, customer acquisition, and retention
  • Proven B2B experience in digital, performance, or affiliate partnerships, preferably in fashion
  • Consulting or strategic planning background, with strong analytical skills and experience providing actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders including brands and retailers
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans
  • Positive, dynamic team player with excellent presentation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel
