Job Responsibility
Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure timely closing of books of accounts
Accounts Management
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process automation, and financial efficiency
- Assist with implementation of ERP or accounting software upgrades
Education
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field
- Proven track record of handling monthly closings, budgeting, and audits
- Experience working with external auditors and regulatory authorities
