Job summary

A leading company in property development is seeking a qualified individual to manage land acquisition and development projects. · Identify and assess land for acquisition / joint venture, including determining design suitability and feasibility, for potential development opportunities.

· Manage and lead a team of consultants to undertake the development and planning stage, from formulation of design brief and design conceptualisation to schematic design, design development and detailed design.

· Assist in liaison with authorities to obtain various approvals / permits / clearance letters.

· Ensure all required drawings at various stages of development are timely and accurately delivered, in accordance with design brief and compliance to authority approvals while meeting developer’s requirements and budget.

· Develop, execute, track and review master development timeline to ensure timely completion.

· Coordinate and provide support to other internal departments /stakeholders on technical issues until handover of projects.

· Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements:

· Degree / Masters in Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate or related discipline.

· At least 5 years of working experience in the property development industry or related field.

· Knowledgeable in statutory requirements and building regulations by authorities, National Land Code, Strata Titles Act, Uniform Building By-Laws.

· Familiar with submission and approval procedures by the authorities.

· Exposure and experience in technical aspect: Urban Planning, Architectural, Landscape, M&E, C&S and ID.

· Conversant with Ms Word, Ms Power Point, Ms Excel, AutoCAD.

· Proficient in written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

· High level of attention to detail.

· Encouraged affiliation with respective professional boards and/or institutes.
