A leading company is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the CIO and KL management team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves managing schedules, crafting communications, and coordinating projects. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and experience in fast-paced environments. What you will do
1. Executive Support to CIO & KL MT
Proactively manage and prioritize calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for the CIO and KL MT members.
Prepare pre-read materials, briefing documents, and presentation decks for high-level meetings and engagements.
Track, follow up, and close action items on behalf of the CIO and KL MT, ensuring accountability and timely execution.
Serve as a primary liaison between KL leadership and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and responsiveness.
2. Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Craft internal communications, leadership messages, and presentation content aligned to CIO and KL MT strategic initiatives.
Partner with Corporate Communications and HR to drive consistent, clear messaging across the organization.
Plan and execute key leadership events including town halls, MT briefings, offsites, and employee engagement activities.
Drive internal visibility of KL MT-led programs through proactive storytelling and reporting.
3. Project Coordination & Governance Support
Coordinate selected transformation initiatives and leadership programs originating from the CIO or KL MT.
Support risk tracking, issue escalation, and governance activities under the CIO or KL MT umbrella.
4. Operational & Administrative Excellence
Oversee administrative needs including expense reporting, budget coordination, vendor engagement, and procurement requests for KL office.
Maintain a centralized repository of KL MT meeting documentation, decisions, and strategic roadmaps.
Support onboarding and coordination for new KL MT members or direct reports.
What you will need
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, IT, or related field.
4–5 years of experience supporting senior executives or management teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with high executive presence and political acumen.
Proven capability in handling confidential information, managing ambiguity, and driving outcomes.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with IT, digital transformation, or regional leadership operations is preferred.
