Ansell is looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer to join our team in Melaka!

In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting and assisting in coaching the implementation and management of Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement projects. You will also act as a change agent by leveraging the Lean and Continuous Improvement philosophy.

What will your role be?

• Provide support and coaching to all Green Belts: Communicate Lean Six Sigma methodology, keep project champions, key stakeholders, and operating committees engaged. Work with six sigma resources and functional groups to develop related project hoppers to close gaps.
• Organizational Alignment & Excellence: Communicate and work across Ansell’s businesses to identify benchmark practices in metrics, dashboards, and key initiatives, and drive replication of best practices.
• Supply Chain Projects: Assist with special projects as necessary to support due diligence analysis and manufacturing consolidation projects.
• Manufacturing Metrics Improvement: Collaborate with manufacturing and finance teams to build consensus on calculation and reporting standards for productivity, throughput, quality, and other key metrics. Support S3 cost savings reporting from completed projects monthly. Ensure data hygiene for key metrics and KPIs.
• Coaching and Consulting: Act as a resource to the Plant Project team on tools, skill development, and opportunity assessment related to improving key cost, quality, speed, and working capital results.
• Data Reporting & Documentation: Support processes related to data collection, verification, monitoring, and timely reporting.
• Metrics Management: Ensure key metrics are defined, developed, tracked, and that improvements positively impact each project.
• Training & Deployment: Support all Lean Six Sigma training and deployment requirements, leading and supporting enterprise projects as needed.
• Support enterprise projects or Kaizen Events as necessary.
• Standardization & Best Practices: Standardize, communicate, replicate, and propose best practices across all plants and divisions.
• Policy & Procedure Development: Assist in developing and deploying standardized policies and procedures across all sites.
• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25%, both domestically and internationally.

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Bachelor’s degree in science, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
• 6-8 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in glove manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (minimum).
• Proven experience in deploying and supporting production systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working across operations on a cross-functional basis.
