We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive the creation of best-in-class digital solutions that will delight and add value to our customers & partners in the building materials & construction industry as well as to our own employees.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for building digital solutions that will add value to our ecosystem of employees, customers, vendors, contractors and other business partners. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, including market / user research, product strategy & roadmap, stakeholder alignment, design & prototyping, sprint planning & execution, testing, change & communication management, deployment / rollout & support.

This is a highly collaborative role, where you will need to manage effectively across senior management, technical dev teams and end-users (both internal and external), making good decisions that strike the right balance between commercial objectives, technical feasibility and user experience, in order to deliver best-in-class digital solutions & platforms in a timely manner.

Interested candidates should be able to present a portfolio of digital products they have successfully launched.

The role is based in Pusat Perdagangan The Mines.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  1. Oversee the entire product lifecycle. Key activities include:
  2. Defining product vision and strategy based on an informed understanding of user needs, competitor products in the market, and technology trends.
  3. Articulating product vision and strategy to key stakeholders to get necessary buy-in.
  4. Conducting market and user research to detail out user requirements, user stories, user journeys, process flows etc.
  5. Developing effective screen prototypes using UI/UX tools.
  6. Translating product strategy into an implementable product roadmap, effectively prioritising for impact and value and balancing trade-offs with cost, time and technology limitations.
  7. Scoping detailed project budgets & timelines and getting stakeholder buy-in.
  8. Managing the product roadmap, change requests and backlogs.
  9. Project management for product delivery - Partnering closely with the technical team to coordinate project resources, manage dependencies / integration requirements, resolve project issues – all to ensure continuous delivery of features on time and quality and within budget.
  10. Developing and coordinating user acceptance testing processes, defining test criteria & go/no-go criteria for feature release.
  11. Providing regular update reports on project status, analyses, risk and issues.
  12. Developing and implementing effective communication & change management plans, including marketing to, educating and training end-users to improve user adoption and user satisfaction.
  13. Defining product success metrics and implementing data-driven monitoring & evaluation systems to ensure constant product iteration and improvements.
  14. Building up post-release application support capabilities where required.
  15. Define and implement processes and systems as required, including maintaining comprehensive projects and policy documentation, to ensure the process of developing and managing digital products will continue running sustainably and with accountability.
  16. Collaborate closely with other product managers to ensure digital products are in alignment with other digital initiatives in service of the overall digital transformation ambitions of the company.
  17. Support on product commercialisation initiatives, including business planning, product costing and developing go-to market strategies.
  18. Work on talent acquisition and talent management initiatives to build up a team as may be required to support on the above key responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a product management or similar role.
  • Experience working in an agile / scrum development process.
  • Hands-on experience working with project / document management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint.
  • Hands-on experience with UI/UX design / wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, InVision, Marvel).
  • Practical knowledge of technical & data architectures, and being able to articulate their potential impact to product design.
  • Solid knowledge of core business processes (e.g., sales, supply chain management, finance).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrable ability to reason in a logical and structured manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Adaptable to change and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, with an ability to operate under pressure, prioritise tasks & resources and be deadline driven.
