Job Description:

• Technical or Vocational Certificate or Diploma in the Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Industrial Engineering disciplines.
• 1-2 years process experience in manufacturing environment or fresh graduate that has gone through 3-6 months internship training.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environment, maintenance or process development.
• Develops communication skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking. Develops interpersonal and team skills necessary to perform effectively in a variety of cross-functional team situations.
• Training will be provided internally or externally to suit the work of process technician, however person that has experienced work in assembly process of a medical devices is given and advantages.
• To involve in all general process engineering practices as an examples develop FMEA,IOQ,PQ, Continuous improvement, statistical analysis and problem solving.
• Able to start up the process, shutdown the process, inspect, repair and maintenance of the equipment follow the working order, troubleshoot the problem during the process and optimize the process to ensure its efficient.
• To work together with production to enable meeting the OEE target.to support demand planning.
• Ensure the housekeeping is meeting the standard of good manufacturing practices.
• Compliance with health, safety and environmental rules all the time.
• Escalation of the issues or improvement and communicate it to peer, supervisor and manager.
• Whilst the above responsibilities constitute the primary functions of the role, the process technician may be required to carry out other reasonable tasks as dictated by the needs of the business.
