Lead Finance, Costing & Accounts - Trading
- Expertise in managing international credit insurance and developing risk matrices for open credit business, particularly in the GCC and Africa regions.
- Extensive experience in conducting customer KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and performing detailed credit assessments to mitigate financial risks.
- Ability to work with Sales Team to ensure that the company covers the cost of credit, insurance, and other finance-related costs.
- Act as Middle Office and approve all trades that meet the pricing guidelines set by the Business from time to time.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and implement annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze monthly budget vs. actual performance, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments.
- Oversee the preparation and finalization of financial statements for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage audit processes, addressing queries promptly to ensure smooth closure.
4. Cash Flow Management:
- Ensure effective cash flow management through diligent tracking of receivables and follow-up procedures with clients.
- Optimize cash collection cycles and minimize overdue accounts.
5. Management Reporting:
- Lead the preparation of internal management reports, ensuring accurate financial data and KPIs for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional Qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from ACCA is required.
- At least 15 years of experience in finance management, preferably in a trading or multinational environment.
- Understanding of the trading sector, foreign exchange, or financial markets.
- Proven experience in managing finance and accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of international credit and risk management frameworks, especially in GCC and Africa markets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and derive insights.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
