About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Company Secretary Assistant to join our dynamic team at ID EMANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our company.

What you'll be doing
  1. Lead a portfolio of clients and assist in all aspects of company secretarial work, duties and ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2016, other relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  2. Update and maintain all statutory records and books including but not limited to compliance with Companies Act, 2016, other law and requirement.
  3. Responsible for the preparation of documents such as resolutions, annual return, minutes of meetings and other corporate secretarial documents.
  4. Assist in coordinating and arranging submission of documents to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) including MyCOID submission.
  5. Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the superior.
What we're looking for
  1. Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment. Fresh graduates who are interested are encouraged to apply.
  3. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  6. Proficient in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients.
  7. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirements would be an advantage.
