Job summary

A leading company in property development is seeking an Executive, Accounts to assist in financial reporting and management. The role involves preparing monthly accounts, liaising with banks, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. Ideal candidates will have tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance and strong analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with IFCA systems is desirable.

Job description

The Executive, Accounts is responsible for assisting the Finance/Accounts Manager in the timely preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare monthly management accounts
  2. Assist the Finance Manager in preparing annual financial accounts
  3. Prepare detailed management information as required
  4. Prepare monthly statements of accounts to debtors and follow up on collections
  5. Assist the Finance Manager in liaising with banks and regulatory bodies
  6. Assist the Finance Manager in liaising with external auditors and tax agents
  7. Perform monthly accounting reconciliations
  8. Prepare weekly cash/bank position reports
  9. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
  10. Assist the Finance Manager in preparing tax estimates and revisions
Selection Criteria:
  1. Experience in handling a full set of accounts
  2. Experience in handling monthly billing, collections, and leasing (rental) activities
  3. Strong numeric, oral, and written communication skills
  4. Ability to analyze financial reports and provide meaningful insights to management
  5. Analytical, self-motivated, high integrity, and able to work independently
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word; familiarity with IFCA systems is desirable but not required
Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance or equivalent experience in the property development industry.
