Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Executive to support the planning, coordination, and execution of our construction and development projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and strong organizational skills to manage project documentation, costs, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

1. Review contract drawings and liaise with consultants to confirm project specifications, scope of work, and contractual obligations.
2. Prepare project cost estimates for feasibility studies and cost planning.
3. Draft and maintain project documentation including reports, budgets, and contracts.
4. Manage design change documentation and update budgets accordingly to minimize variation orders.
5. Implement value engineering to maximize project profitability.
6. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with material suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
7. Source for project items and materials in both China and Malaysia, and negotiate directly with suppliers for the best terms.
8. Prepare Letters of Award for consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
9. Monitor and track construction work progress using Microsoft Project software, ensuring alignment with the overall work programme.
10. Attend client, consultant, and project coordination meetings.

Requirements:

1. Degree either in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; or a Diploma in Architecture or Quantity Surveying.
2. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
4. Office-based, with occasional travel to project sites.
5. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
6. Possess a valid driver’s license.
