You will be executing high-quality creative assets consistent with our brand guidelines to inspire and attract our target consumer, based on the brand’s market segmentation – ensuring the best omni-channel experience and customer journey. You will also be involved in developing fresh visual campaign ideas derived from both insight and strategic planning, which will help drive value to the business. Working cross-functionally with various internal and external teams, you will also ensure that an optimum design standard is maintained – in line with the brand’s guidelines, aesthetic, values, and vision across all on-ground retail and digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Online/Offline & Corporate
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collaterals to capture the attention of the brand’s audience and communicate the right message across all integrated O2O platforms (marketing and sales collaterals, packaging, window displays, digital screens, email marketing, print and digital advertising banners, etc.).
- Collaborate with the digital team to create bespoke visuals that will help amplify the message and drive sales on all MS. READ’s online stores – aligned with the content strategy whilst maintaining a visual aesthetic that is consistent with the brand identity and design standards.
- Continuously review final visual outputs and suggest/initiating improvements where needed.
- Prepare moodboard proposals with clear art direction for planned/on-going campaigns and shoots when needed.
Social Media – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
- Work closely with the marketing team to create on-brand and engaging content and social media assets and ads across all social platforms. This includes shooting and video editing (such as reels and other short-form content) and minor photography at times.
Quality assurance & housekeeping
- Carry out post-production processes – retouching, colour correction, resizing, and manipulation of images when needed to enhance the overall quality of final output.
- Work closely with external teams (photographers, print suppliers, GWP suppliers, etc.) to ensure that the final output of images/printed material are consistent with the brand’s guidelines, standards, and expectations.
- Practice and maintain a good file preparation/management process of the brand’s creative assets; includes file naming and archiving in the G-Drive cloud.
Additional Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Strategy Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing the overall creative and content strategy in collaboration with the Art Director, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and target audience.
- Project Ownership: Lead the design and content projects from concept to completion, managing timelines and resources effectively.
- Content Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of content across platforms using analytics tools, provide insights, and suggest improvements to increase engagement and conversion.
- Brand Development: Play a proactive role in evolving the brand’s visual identity and explore new visual trends or content formats that could enhance brand positioning.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal). Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.

- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Knowledge in After Effects, basic HTML, CSS, and other coding languages is a plus.
- Basic animation skills.
- Photography or fashion styling experience.
