Business Development Manager (Logistics)

Are you an experienced and driven professional looking to take on a dynamic role in logistics and customer service? Be part of a forward-thinking logistics company with an expanding presence across Malaysia and Singapore!

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development
2. a. Develop and secure new trucking consolidated (LCL) business to achieve sales targets. FCL business can be secured when required.
3. b. Provide excellent customer service, handle and grow relationships with existing and new customers, seek feedback, and implement improvements.
4. c. Collaborate with management to expand into airfreight, sea freight, and warehousing.
5. d. Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs for strategic planning.
6. e. Build and maintain relationships with multinational companies, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
7. f. Currently servicing many MNCs and factories dealing in electronic equipment, pharmaceuticals, advertising materials, packing materials, and plastic tubes, with trucking routes from Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Johor, to Singapore and vice versa.

2. Build Customer-Centric Solutions

1. a. Deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
2. b. Resolve service issues promptly and effectively.

3. Operational Coordination

1. a. Prepare accurate quotations and ensure smooth logistics execution.
2. b. Collaborate with operations to meet customer expectations.
3. c. Submit weekly reports and updates during management meetings.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in trucking, supply chain management, or related fields.
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures for bonded and non-bonded cargo.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, proficient in Microsoft Office.
