JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage tasks related to tax compliance or tax advisory as assigned by superiors.
- For tax compliance, prepare and submit tax computations and tax returns for corporate entities, limited liability partnerships, personal taxes, employer obligations, and similar responsibilities.
- Lead a team to handle tax advisory cases directly allocated by superiors.
- Assist in advising clients on taxation matters for companies, employers, and individuals.
- Support the Manager in completing group tasks.
- Liaise with clients, IRBM, and other government agencies. Assist in tax advisory and tax audit engagements.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments/projects as required.
- Provide guidance and review the work of subordinates.
- Conduct research on tax advisory matters.
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Friendly, good communication skills, and PR skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, results-driven, and a team player.
- Self-motivated, proactive, able to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision, with good communication skills.
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Accountancy, Taxation, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with BrassTax software.
- Preferably with 3 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with less than 3 years are also welcome to apply.
