Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure all activities comply with Category Strategies agreed upon between Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Processes, and 'Purchasing Authority'.
2. Perform group overseas sourcing/contracting and support local and global category strategies, RFx, spend analysis, bid evaluation, negotiation, and supplier consolidation.
3. Manage purchase orders promptly.
4. Standardize and enforce procurement management standards and processes to monitor supplier performance and evaluation.
5. Maximize the use of eProcurement systems, evaluate all potential opportunities, and contribute to cost-saving activities.
6. Ensure security of supply, adhere to required lead times, and meet material specifications and requirements according to Schindler norms.
7. Monitor goods returns and manage claims.

Key Requirements

• University or College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business & Administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Strategic Purchasing/Category Management.
• Experience with MS Office and SAP.
• Good negotiation and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Mandarin skills are an advantage.
