Job Purpose:
Lead and manage all maintenance activities for our company's facilities, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of plant equipment and systems. This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies, leading a team of skilled technicians, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes to support the company's operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Program Leadership: Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure optimal plant reliability and performance.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
Operational Maintenance: Manage the installation, repair, and upkeep of all company facilities and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil systems.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
Cost Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, striving for cost savings and efficient resource allocation.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to maintenance workflows, technologies, and methods to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and relevant industry standards.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse data, and provide regular reports to management on maintenance activities and performance.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize appropriate training programs for maintenance personnel.
Communication: Effectively communicate maintenance plans, status updates, and issues to all levels of the organization.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a maintenance field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven experience in developing and implementing maintenance programs and strategies.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
Experience with Maintenance Management Systems (MMS), Asset Management Systems, or Equipment Reliability Strategies.
Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and practices.
