ASSA ABLOY APAC manufactures and sells mechanical and electromechanical locks, digital door locks, high-security doors, and fittings.

With a large ongoing Microsoft Dynamics programme and more divisional IT applications planned, ASSA ABLOY APAC is seeking an experienced Dynamics AX Technical Manager to join the internal application team. The role involves designing, developing, and testing the divisional ERP application portfolio based on Dynamics AX.

The Dynamics programme is one of the largest globally, offering numerous challenges and opportunities for the right candidate.

The APAC Division has implemented AX 2012 R3 since 2013 and is now upgrading to D365 Finance and Operations. The upgrade involves integrating with systems like E-Commerce, Warehouse Automation, Data Warehouse, BI, Banking, and Barcode Scanning.

The Dynamics Technical Manager will be part of a skilled internal team working with external partners to design, develop, and implement the APAC solution.

Responsibilities:

• Overall technical design, development, and troubleshooting of the Microsoft Dynamics 2012 R3 platform and related third-party tools.
• Coding standards, code reviews, and deployment.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of the ERP environment and system integrations.
• Lead technology upgrades and special projects such as archiving solutions and migrations.
• SQL Database Administration, performance tuning, and platform enhancement.
• Manage change and release processes.
• Collaborate with application teams and external partners on system design and testing.
• Manage external consultancy partners to ensure quality and adherence to project governance.
• Oversee the D365 ERP upgrade project following Microsoft LCS guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with AX or D365; at least 3 years specifically with D365; total ERP experience of 10 years is acceptable.
• Extensive knowledge of Dynamics AX applications and system integrations in large, multi-site environments.
• Advanced understanding of cloud deployments of Dynamics and experience with Azure platform development.
• Deep experience with Dynamics AX modifications and integrations, emphasizing documentation, processes, and stability.
• Proficiency in .NET, BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and MS-SQL.
• Experience with AX 2012 R3 is mandatory; D365 and cloud implementation experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills, process adherence, clear communication, and fluent English. Ability to conduct onsite and online conferences, training, and testing support. Mandarin skills are a plus.
