An established institution in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to join its dynamic team. Provide support in the accounting processes and procedures of WOU – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and General Ledger, including reconciliations.
Liaise with relevant departments on asset tagging and maintain fixed assets listing.
Responsible for WOU project account tracking and perform reconciliations.
Ensure timely collection from facilities rental, ad-hoc projects, or other collections and issuance of tax invoices, where applicable.
Assist in monitoring the cash and bank balances.
Assist in the monthly closing and reporting, as well as all financial and accounting-related activities.
Handle a full set of subsidiary accounts and prepare management accounts.
Assist in annual audits and tax schedules.
Undertake ad-hoc reports, data analysis reports, and other duties as assigned by superiors.
Provide support in the accounting processes and procedures of WOU – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and General Ledger, including reconciliations.
Responsible for monitoring and managing student collections, refunds, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and other related financial functions.
Assist in annual audits and tax schedules.

Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
Candidate with at least 2-3 years of accounting experience; audit experience is an advantage.
Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, result-driven, and able to work under pressure in a timely manner.
Good personality, diligent, careful, detail-oriented, with a good attitude and sense of responsibility.
