Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services. This role involves working with suppliers, negotiating prices, handling purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to meet business needs.

Salary range: RM3,000 - RM 5,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Source and evaluate reliable suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Negotiate pricing and terms to secure the best value for the company.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries to avoid shortages or delays.
  5. Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill purchasing needs.
  6. Maintain accurate purchasing records and assess supplier performance regularly for improvements.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  3. Good communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
  5. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word).
  6. Experience with procurement systems (ERP system) is an advantage.
