About The Role

Job Title: Procurement / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components for R&D projects.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those requirements.
  3. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  5. Assist in the assessment and selection of vendors, ensuring they meet quality and reliability standards.
  6. Monitor procurement metrics and prepare regular reports for the HQ, highlighting performance and improvement areas.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement, implementing innovative solutions to optimize processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
