Environmental Engineer, Environmental Sustainability Design

Department and Location

You will be part of the Buildings department within our APAC division, based in Malaysia. Collaborating with Civil & Structural Engineering and SMART Building teams, you will work on diverse projects across Asia, contributing to our global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients.
  • Research industry trends and analyze the sustainability design market and competitors to identify growth areas.
  • Assist in developing strategic plans for company growth.
  • Develop and implement market entry strategies for sustainability design consultancy and ESG reporting in Asia-Pacific.
  • Lead green certification projects, engaging stakeholders and liaising with certification bodies to obtain certificates.
  • Prepare documentation and applications for green certifications.
  • Conduct environmental assessments of existing buildings, identify improvements, and advise on costs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate sustainable practices into projects.
Qualifications

Relevant experience in consulting, such as:

  1. Conducting environmental impact assessments ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations.
  2. Developing sustainable practices balancing economic and environmental goals.
  3. Understanding of local and international environmental laws.
  4. Preparing sustainability reports for stakeholders.
  5. Using environmental monitoring techniques for data collection.
  6. Creating educational programs on environmental issues and sustainability.
