About The Role

As part of the Package Material R&D Team, this position will be responsible for the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of various BOM materials in power modules and advanced packaging such as 2.5D and 3D packaging.

What You Will Do
  • Develop power module and advanced packaging materials, including material characterization and interaction with process/product reliability.
  • Assess materials for process robustness and package integrity through in-depth understanding.
  • Lead cross-site technical teams to align with industry directions and advance material development.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive projects to enhance package competitiveness.
  • Apply statistical analysis tools, failure analysis, and problem-solving techniques to improve material performance.
  • Establish structured reporting and data analysis methods for material development.
What You Will Need
  • Master's degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in materials as a process manufacturing or development engineer in semiconductors or relevant industries.
  • Strong knowledge of material selection and qualification processes.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional project management to solve complex BOM material and integration challenges.
  • Responsibility and ownership mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to expand knowledge into other fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing company needs and a self-motivated team approach.
  • Proficiency in statistical methods (e.g., Minitab, DOE, FMEA) and technical report writing.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
