Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive tax services.
- Develop rapport with clients and communicate with them to deliver professional planning, advice, and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in Malaysian Tax Laws and regulations, and ensure the company's compliance.
- Manage all tax functions, including tax planning, identifying tax incentives, and providing advice to clients.
- Assist and support in advisory and consultancy work regarding correspondence from IRB.
- Perform and plan tax audits.
- Perform any tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification and/or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or partial professional qualification (ACCA/MIA/CPA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the tax line, preferably with another professional services firm. Candidates with relevant industry experience are also eligible.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Leadership and people management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Added advantages: Mandarin speaker (to liaise with Mandarin and overseas clients) and Tax Agent License.
