Job description

About 2nd Street Trading Malaysia:
2nd Street is the most popular reused shop with more than 1000 stores worldwide. We are opening 50 new stores per year. High-quality products and retail mechanisms that we have cultivated over the years help us operate our 1000 stores. Our original selling methods enable us to provide high-quality second-hand clothing from Japan to many customers in Malaysia.

What you'll be doing:

1. Routine inspection:
   a) Inspect shop conditions and identify any damages or repairs needed.
2. Installation, repair & troubleshooting:
   a) Painting touch-ups, basic plumbing, replacing burnt-out lights and faulty switches, etc.
   b) Completing minor repairs such as fixing doors, locks, door frames, handles, and replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches, and window glass.
3. Emergency Response and Administrative Reporting:
   a) Respond promptly to emergency repair and cleanup requests.
   b) Complete administrative tasks like filling out forms and reporting maintenance status to the manager.
4. Maintenance Equipment: Ensure all maintenance equipment is in good working order and compliant with safety and health regulations.
5. Other duties: Perform additional tasks as requested by Top Management.

What we're looking for:

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from the manager.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals.
• Proven general maintenance experience (preferred).
