Job Description
Fully responsible for providing technical support for active device testing, developing NPI test fixtures and test programs, and maintaining related test equipment and fixtures. Reports to the test supervisor of the Engineering Department.
Responsibilities
- Manage test processes including burn-in, FT, Electrical Safety Test, and other necessary tests for active device manufacturing.
- Set up the Active Device Product Test Line, including developing and integrating the test platform.
- Develop NPI projects, test fixtures, and test programs.
- Analyze and repair defective products.
- Prepare documentation related to testing procedures, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with the Design team to improve product testability and provide feedback for design improvements.
- Achieve key performance indicators such as FPY and minimize downtime/rework time.
- Work with manufacturing to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement towards company goals.
Desired Characteristics
- Proficient in using electronic measurement devices such as AC/DC sources, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Proficient in at least one programming language, such as LabWindows CVI/TestStand, C/C++, C#, Python.
- Knowledge of the entire test process, including burn-in, safety testing, and functional testing.
- Good teamwork and communication skills; experience in cross-functional project management is preferred.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics, mechanical, automation, or related fields.
- Over 3 years of testing experience in electronics; experience in the medical industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues collaboratively.
- Good English and Chinese listening and speaking skills; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
