Key responsibilities

Technical Execution

  • Perform routine maintenance, disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of aircraft components such as heat exchangers, air cycle machines, valves, and starters under supervision.
  • Use precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure components meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist in diagnosing faults and executing repairs, gradually taking on more complex tasks as skills develop.
  • Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the organization and regulatory bodies such as FAA and EASA.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Identify and report non-conformances or deviations during maintenance activities.
  • Team Collaboration and Development
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, senior technicians, and team leads to meet production schedules and operational goals.
  • Seek guidance and feedback from experienced colleagues to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
  • Actively participate in training and development programs to advance toward the Technician role.

Operational Support

  • Assist in maintaining workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and calibrated as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Execute tasks following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while also exercising sound judgment for non-standard scenarios requiring troubleshooting or escalation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience or exposure in an aviation-related field, with foundational technical skills in aircraft component maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and precision repair processes.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and technical documentation.
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
  • Team-oriented mindset, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution.
