Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Preparing monthly management reports, statutory reports, and ad hoc reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

Analyzing financial data (perform credit evaluation for customer) to identify and reduce operational risk.

Managing cash flow and preparing monthly cash flow projections to optimize financial resources and mitigate risks.

Timely preparation, submission, and filing of withholding tax and SST/GST.

Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Coordinating with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and senior management, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Liaising with external parties, such as auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions, to fulfill reporting and regulatory requirements.

Performing any ad-hoc assignments as required by management.

Job requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized higher learning institution.

At least 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience in property or hospitality industry is an added advantage.

Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, including Mandarin, are additional advantages.

Well-versed in Microsoft Office software, e.g., Excel.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Possess good analytical skills, meticulousness, multi-tasking ability, positive working attitude, commitment, good interpersonal and follow-up skills.

Ability to build and maintain good relationships both internally and externally.

Able to work independently under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
