Job Title: Sales Manager – Medium & High Voltage

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Type: Permanent

Reports To: Sales Manager

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Engineer with expertise in Medium Voltage (MV) & High Voltage (HV) systems to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate should have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, experience in the energy sector, and a strong understanding of utility companies like TNB, SEB, and SESB. The role focuses on business development, sales strategy execution, and technical consultation for transmission and distribution line fittings & accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver technical sales presentations to clients, showcasing product benefits and solutions.
  • Understand customer needs, evaluate technical data, and provide sales support.
  • Generate and manage sales leads, follow up on inquiries, secure orders, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Establish strong relationships with utilities, contractors, and key stakeholders in the power sector.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and areas for improvement, proposing solutions to management.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Conduct business trips as required for client meetings and project discussions.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or electrical power-related company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience working with utility companies (e.g., TNB, SEB, SESB).
  • Familiarity with Medium Voltage (MV) & High Voltage (HV) power distribution systems.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Willingness to travel for business when required.
  • Availability to join within 1 month.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: Up to MYR 10,000
