Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our dynamic finance team. The primary responsibilities include preparing daily available funds for each entity, consolidating financial reports, and supporting various treasury and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, proficiency in financial reporting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Daily Funds Management:
    • Monitor and prepare daily available funds for each entity within the company.
    • Ensure accuracy in cash positioning and liquidity reporting.
    • Prepare and consolidate accurate, timely, and compliant reports for the entire group.
    • Review and analyze consolidated financial reports for the entire group.
  2. Team Guidance & Support:
    • Provide guidance and support to the audit team from a senior perspective, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
    • Support initiatives to improve overall performance and effectiveness.
    • Foster collaboration and communication between finance departments across the group.
  3. Audit & Compliance Review:
    • Review weekly audit reports from team members related to Client Equities and Funds to ensure data accuracy.
    • Collaborate with account teams and other departments to address discrepancies.
  4. Ad-hoc Tasks:
    • Support other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Possess at least a bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full sets of accounts or audit; banking and finance experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, IF functions, etc.) and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage).
