Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct troubleshooting and repair machines, equipment, accessories, and make adjustments to ensure that plant operation is in good running condition.
2. Maintain machines and water systems according to schedule.
3. Perform basic cleaning of air conditioner units.
4. Carry out effective preventive maintenance for plant utilities such as CCTV cameras, telephone systems, and others.
5. Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and oiling to ensure optimum working order.
6. Handle electrical tools and maintain a clean, safe work area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; report any defects.
7. Perform inspections and adjustments as routine jobs; record in Machinery Maintenance Record and Mechanical Log Book.
8. Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimations.
9. Maintain technical knowledge through internal training, workshops, and on-the-job training.
10. Manage spare parts and consumables stocks to support maintenance activities.
11. Liaise with relevant personnel from related departments regarding maintenance matters.
12. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin; especially Mandarin for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Experience working in a GMP environment is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Good technical background with experience in repairing and equipment maintenance.
• Proactive with good interpersonal skills.
