- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is an advantage

The Elder Care Center Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the elder care facility, ensuring high-quality care and services for residents. This position involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a supportive and enriching environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Oversight: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations of the center. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to residents, staff, and facility operations. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and budget management. Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to meet the needs of residents.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff members, including nurses, caregivers, and administrative personnel. Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff. Conduct performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns promptly. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and respect.
- Quality of Care: Ensure that residents receive high-quality care and support tailored to their individual needs. Implement programs and activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being among residents. Monitor resident satisfaction and address any complaints or concerns in a timely manner. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medical care and services for residents.
- Compliance and Regulation: Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing elder care facilities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including licensing, safety, and sanitation standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Address any deficiencies or areas of non-compliance promptly and effectively.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for the elder care center, including revenue projections and expense allocations. Monitor financial performance against budgetary targets and implement cost-saving measures when necessary. Review billing and invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Community Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and the broader community. Serve as a liaison between the elder care center and external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups. Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives to raise awareness about elder care issues and resources.
