What You Will Do

• Work on core components of the blockchain industry, such as validators and protocol extensions, to improve performance and implement custom components and business logic.
• Design and implement new features in core blockchain components written in Rust (e.g., github.com/anza-xyz/agave).
• Deploy, analyze, and optimize component performance in high-performance environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, node operations, internal and external research teams, and other stakeholders on new features.
• Ensure high quality and continuous operation by designing and writing automated tests.
• Learn, grow, and expand beyond your current role.

What We Are Looking For

• Experienced Rust software engineer with deep knowledge of computer architectures and high-performance software.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for developing software for critical blockchain systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Rust; knowledge of Golang and C is a plus.
• Expertise in high-performance coding patterns, concurrency, multi-threading, and advanced data structures.
• Ability to critically design and evaluate software architecture.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
