Job description

Brief Job Description: Design and analyze electrical systems including HV, MV, and LV. Perform feasibility studies and testing for new designs and upgrades.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time Investment:

  1. Able to independently develop new electrical designs, including calculations.
  2. Involved in design optimization and testing & commissioning (T&C) processes.
  3. Provide detailed designs, including layout, schematic diagrams, calculations, simulations, SOP, EOP, MOP, and T&C documents.
  4. Monitor maintenance activities to ensure high quality in planning, preparation, execution, and reporting.
  5. Ensure infrastructure reliability focusing on service continuity, energy efficiency, and budget constraints.
  6. Resolve facilities-related problems, including efficiency, monitoring, and heat exchangers.
  7. Oversee and optimize data center operating efficiency, including PUE, DCIE, maintenance costs, and lifecycle planning.
  8. Manage planned preventive maintenance programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  9. Provide technical support for data center operations, maintenance, and repair to achieve 100% uptime and SLA compliance.
  10. Conduct capacity planning, asset management validation, and resource management.
  11. Oversee incident response, problem resolution, and change management processes.
  12. Ensure compliance with SOPs, MOPs, ERP, and change control procedures.
  13. Manage client-facing project deployments.
  14. Ensure daily operations and engineering activities comply with legislation.
  15. Build and maintain trustful customer relationships within operations teams.
  16. Support audit activities by implementing policies and procedures for compliance.
  17. Assist sales with potential deals.
  18. Manage vendors and contractors to ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, equipment lead times, and reliability, maintaining best practices.
  19. Implement and control workflows and processes within the data center.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, or related technology field.
  • At least 4 years' experience in facilities management within data centers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership, independence, and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in data center facilities operations and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience in data center project management and T&C.
  • Knowledge of critical systems (generators, UPS, fuel systems, switchgear, chillers, CRAC units, fire systems, monitoring).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO27001, PCI DSS, ISO50001, SOC1/2, local regulations).
  • Experience in data center construction, Uptime TIER topology, and project management.
