What you will be doing;
- Oversee the end-to-end HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, training, employee engagement, and disciplinary processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and Malaysian labour law.
- Manage manpower planning and work closely with outlet managers to ensure sufficient staffing and roster efficiency.
- Lead employee relations and foster a strong workplace culture across all outlets and departments.
- Coordinate and drive employee engagement initiatives, training plans, and retention strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership to support business strategy through effective HR practices.
- Monitor HR KPIs including turnover rates, absenteeism, and training ROI.
- Lead performance appraisals and career development planning.
What we are looking for;
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in the F&B industry (restaurant, café chains, quick service brands, or hospitality).
- Proven experience in a hands-on HR generalist or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and F&B operational realities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to relate with both crew-level staff and upper management.
- Resourceful, fast-paced, people-centric, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., payroll software, Trello, HRMS).
