The Brand General Manager (BGM) is the commercial lead for one of MKA Group’s iconic motorcycle parts brands. Each brand focuses on driving top-line growth, brand strength, and market presence. BGMs are empowered with full responsibility over Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, while backend functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, IT) are supported by MKA Group’s Shared Services.

This role is suited for individuals who are passionate about the rider lifestyle, understand the ground realities, and can build a performance-focused brand that riders trust and follow.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive Commercial Performance
  2. Own the brand’s revenue growth strategy and ensure delivery of sales targets.
  3. Define pricing strategies, dealer incentives, and forecasts to maintain profitability.
  4. Build, coach, and lead a results-oriented sales team.
  5. Strengthen dealer, workshop, and retail networks across key markets.
  6. Develop & Position the Brand
  7. Define the brand’s identity, tone, and value proposition in line with market demand and rider behavior.
  8. Oversee brand campaigns, motorsport sponsorships, and digital marketing initiatives.
  9. Execute Market Growth Strategy
  10. Expand into new territories and customer segments.
  11. Lead go-to-market strategies for new product lines or market rollouts.
  12. Champion Customer & Community Experience
  13. Build brand credibility through on-ground activation, rider engagement, and workshop loyalty programs.
  14. Foster a community of brand advocates and motorsport collaborators.
  15. Collaborate with Group Shared Services
  16. Work closely with central teams (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Legal) for smooth operations.
  17. Ensure alignment with group policies and compliance.
  18. Monitor & Report Business Performance
  19. Track KPIs like sales, margin, market share, and campaign ROI.
  20. Provide regular updates to Group CEO and stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • An experienced commercial operator with 8–10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a senior brand, sales, or commercial role.
  • Experience in automotive, motorcycle aftermarket, or performance parts industry is preferred.
  • Proven success in driving revenue, managing dealer relationships, and building trust.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-focused, and comfortable in field operations.
  • Strong understanding of motorcycle culture, rider trends, and ground-level dynamics.
  • Confident communicator with leadership qualities and a hands-on approach.

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience growing brands across Southeast Asia (e.g., Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand).
  • Involvement in motorsport sponsorships, racing events, or grassroots marketing.
  • Knowledge of homologation, OEM partnerships, or product lifecycle management.
