An established industry player is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to lead their front office team. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and enhancing guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and proven experience in team leadership. You will be responsible for budget management, staff training, and implementing effective sales strategies. Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team member performance.
Educate and train team members in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained and equipped with the tools and equipment necessary to carry out their duties.
Ensure your team is properly trained on systems, security, service, and quality standards.
Oversee the Front Office Department and directly supervise all front office personnel, ensuring the proper completion of all front office duties and achieving maximum potential in occupancy, average rate, promotion, guest relations, and professional service.
Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival, engage with guests, respond appropriately to complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
Conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas, taking immediate action to correct deficiencies.
Assist in preparing the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor the budget, control labor costs and expenses, and focus on rate strategy, initiatives, and inventory management.
Oversee night audit functions and the preparation of daily reports.
Prepare and compile weekly OTA statistics and production reports, including revenue, room nights, percentage, weekly and weekend comparisons, cancellations, and no-shows.
Assist in increasing online hotel sales and implementing online marketing plans.
Support efforts to meet occupancy and average room rate targets set in the Business Plan.
Perform other duties as assigned.
