Perform daily monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance on overall building facilities.
Troubleshoot and repair of manufacturing and utility equipment/systems such as pumps, motors, control valves and cylinder.
Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets.
Supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors on works according to schedule maintenance, repair, shut down and overhaul works.
Ensure maintenance work done comply to local regulatory, corporate safety and industrial standards.
Able to provide simple report on downtime and ensure action follow up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns.
Support the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in the identification and procurement of parts required for maintenance.
Keep track of spare part and inventory usage to maintain spare part/inventory control.
Assist Engineers in carrying out engineering evaluations/experiments/ troubleshooting.
Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in the production and maintenance support areas.
Respond to emergency calls for any troubleshooting required at site.
Service, diagnose and rectify faulty electrical and mechanical components and air-conditioning equipment
Provide support in the service, repair and maintenance of all facilities including compressor, chiller, Fire prevention system, and HVAC.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
Required to do additional hours as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
Use processes such as cutting, grinding, spotting, painting, hand finish, shaping, bending, drilling, reaming, tapping, wiring, plumbing, lay-up, welding, inspection, set-up, operate all types of fabrication and measurement equipment and machine tools required to fabricate.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Min Qualification: Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years’ hands on experience working as a building/facilities maintenance technician.
Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, as required.
Hands on experience in the following areas; Electrician, HVAC, Plumber/Pipefitter, Automation/Controls, Machining, Welding.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft word & excel applications.
Basic knowledge in PLC and its trouble shooting will be added advantage.
