Job Title: Data Center QAQC Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

QAQC Plan Development:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QAQC plans for mechanical systems in data centers.
• Ensure alignment with client requirements and international standards such as ASHRAE and ISO.
• Integrate QAQC plans with the design of mechanical systems, including chiller, CRAH, and CRAC units.

Compliance with International Standards:

• Ensure compliance with international mechanical codes and standards like ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO, and NFPA.
• Manage compliance with local codes, prioritizing them over international standards when necessary.
• Provide examples of successful compliance management in past projects.

Quality Improvement Initiatives:

• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and minimize defects.
• Conduct quality audits, provide observations, and set timelines to address issues based on priority.
• Deliver quality training to the general contractor (GC) team.

Flushing Methodology:

• Implement thorough flushing methodologies for mechanical systems to clean pipes of rust, debris, and chemicals.
• Ensure the flushing process meets industry standards.

Hydrotest and Pneumatic Test:

• Conduct hydrotests and pneumatic tests on mechanical installations to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Use appropriate methods and pressures to check structural integrity and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in QAQC roles within data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of international mechanical codes and standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct quality audits and provide effective training.
• Experience with flushing methodologies and testing procedures.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with data center mechanical systems.
• Certification in relevant QAQC standards.
• Proficiency in QAQC software and tools.
