Job description

• To identify and evaluate potential suppliers; establish and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• To negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• To conduct market analysis to monitor trends, pricing, and supplier performance; utilize insights to inform procurement strategies.
• To manage the procurement process from order placement to delivery; ensure that orders meet quality and timing specifications.
• To analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings; implement strategies to minimize expenses without compromising quality.
• To collaborate with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or excess.
• To ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal, ethical, and company standards.
• To work closely with facilities, project and design teams to align procurement initiatives with overall business goals.
• Prepares and submits reports as required from time to time.
• To undertake additional duties and tasks assigned and assume responsibilities as may be assigned by Head of Department.

Job Requirements

• Possesses a Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent academic discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Meticulous in planning, good communication and problem solving skills.
• Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office, including Words, Excel, and Power Points.
• Ability to prioritize and organize the workload effectively.
• Resourceful, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Display high integrity and honest.
