Scenic Enrichment Manager

Location: Europe - multiple countries.

Requirements

• Experience in the field of entertainment or as an animator at a hotel or on a cruise ship
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Excellent communication skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Stress tolerant

• Some experience with studio technical equipment
• Playing an instrument or acquaintance with performing arts is an advantage

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service
• Assist with welcoming guests on embarkation day
• Assist Cruise Director with outgoing transfers and manage taxis on disembarkation day
• Research, prepare, and execute offboard activities
• Host onboard daytime activities such as Cornhole, Afternoon Quizzes, etc.
• Set up and regularly check the background music system on board
• Set up music and microphone for crew parade during farewell gala dinners
• Assist Cruise Director with excursions as per instructions
• Manage evening entertainment such as quiz nights, game shows, personal performances, Disco nights
• Take photographs and videos onboard or ashore for social media as requested
• Host lectures and information talks based on TI
• Assist with or host the World of Scenic once per cruise, highlighting all Scenic Group offers
• Report to the CD and provide information about daily activities, attendance, and feedback (to be added to daily report)

Side Tasks

• Assist other departments as instructed by supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Participate in all safety drills as per captain’s instructions and ensure solid knowledge of the designated safety role
• Share a cabin based on occupancy
