About the role

As a Project Manager (Construction/Property) at Epicon Berhad, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction and property development projects. Working in a full-time position based in Ipoh, Perak, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
5. Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
6. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
7. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
8. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
9. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
10. Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks.
11. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Leadership and human resources management skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
