Job Description

1. Ensure smooth, accurate, and timely freight process flow & data entry into the Company's Operational Performance Standards.
2. Track & trace Ocean Import files to provide consistent updates to clients.
3. Understand and participate in department processes to improve operational efficiency & outputs.
4. Act as the focal point of contact for clients regarding their international shipments, providing exceptional customer service in accordance with company standards.
5. Contribute to maintaining good relationships with clients, service providers, and vendors.
6. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations at all times, in accordance with government regulations.
7. Meet KPI standards in accordance with the company's procedures.
8. Ensure all customer standard operating procedures are in place and updated in customer SOP.
9. Manage overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external).
10. Escalate problems to management when necessary.
11. Promote compliance by diligently following all company policies and regulations, performing tasks with integrity and pride.
12. Take on additional tasks as required to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of related working experience in a similar position.
• Understanding of transportation documentation and terms is a plus.
• Good knowledge of computer and MS Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive results.
• Proactive, strong organizational skills.
• Strong desire to learn.
