About The Role

As the Branch Manager for the Penang Branch, you will oversee the administration, productivity and daily operations of the Branch Office. You will also direct and control the branch business group activities to achieve optimum sales and profitability through effective use of the branch assets and personnel that is within the policy and procedures.

Branch and Operational Management

• Coordinate the activities of the branch to ensure the company's policy and procedures are followed
• Oversee and direct the activities of the branch to ensure the achievement of business objectives
• Develop systems and procedures to improve customer's service levels
• Monitor and improve branch operations to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality service standards
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction, sales targets, and operational efficiency
• Address operational issues promptly and implement effective solutions
• Provide direction, advise guidance and support to the Sales team by continual daily focus on business activities to ensure best possible outcome for the company
• Maintain a close working relationship with existing and major customers

Financial Management

• Drive sales initiatives and manage branch revenue to meet financial goals
• Plan and review business unit's operating cost, including manpower and assets
• Provide financial direction and explanations to all staff to ensure understanding and alignment with branch financial goals
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management

Leadership

• Coach, lead and develop direct reports
• Ensure processes and systems are in place and used effectively to manage staff performance and development
• Provide direction and support to direct reports to ensure their personal development goals are achieved and their performance meets minimum company expectations
• Promote a sense of belonging, effectiveness and loyalty to the company
• Ensure suitable candidates are employed for individual roles to optimize team performance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar leadership role
• Degree/ Diploma or equivalent with 5-10 years of management experience
• Materials handling industry specific operational experience would be an advantage
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

This position will be based at our Penang Branch as Perai and we will also offer an attractive remuneration to the suitable candidate.
