Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in the precious metals trading industry. As a member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing various accounting processes and ensuring the company’s financial activities align with statutory requirements. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, particularly in an evolving industry like precious metals trading.

Key Responsibilities

Handle for full set of accounts / Account Receivable / Account Payable

Responsible for daily accounting activities.

Reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy, identify and rectify the root cause to resolve any discrepancies.

Monitor and maintain sufficient digital gold and minted stock levels to ensure replenishment on time.

Response to partner inquiries related to project matters, billing, report, and collection.

Prepare and verify the monthly commission in a timely manner.

Responsible for preparing Banker’s acceptance (BA) documents when necessary.

Coordination with projects, business, and IT departments on information gathering during preparation of new project system setup.

Participate in the User Acceptance Test (UAT) of the Company’s accounting and operating systems (SAP) and gold trading platform (GTP).

Set up gold account for upcoming partner and ensure data well maintained.

Maintain the proper filing system for all the relevant documents to ensure accessibility.

Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) is highly desirable.

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the commodities, trading, or financial services sectors.

Fresh Graduates with auditing background are encouraged to apply.

We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking work environment.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other financial functions).

In-depth understanding of accounting principles, local tax laws, and financial reporting standards.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external parties.
