A leading biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Medical Sales Representative to promote and sell products, achieve sales targets, and maintain customer relationships.   • To call on customers to promote and sell in order to achieve the target of the line, increase sales of existing products and expand the market for new products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Makes territory sales plan by products and by customers in accordance with assigned sales target. Reports the results and corrective action on a monthly basis.
  • Achieves sales target both in products and number of customers as per monthly and quarterly plan and increase sales of existing customers.
  • Makes itineraries and daily activities report of what has been done and how much sales achieved on that day.
  • Reports on competitors’ activities and market situation.
  • Expands and penetrates the market with both new and existing products.
  • Promotes product through good product knowledge and honest and appropriate way of use of promotional materials i.e. samples.
  • Informs superiors of customers’ requests or result of those requests or complaints and inform customers on result of those requests or complaints.
  • Keeps good relation with the personnel of principal, the customers and colleagues.
  • Reviews regularly the master list and recommends customers for addition and/or deletion.
  • Submits all required reports.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Science, Chemistry, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical business will be an advantage.
  • Must possess a valid driving license.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, good communication and interpersonal skills.
