Job Responsibilities:
- Liase with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries on matters related to audit, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare full set of accounts with minimal supervision.
- Maintain proper accounting records and document control.
- Assist in accounts payable processes, including invoice matching, creditors' reconciliation, staff claims, and payment preparations.
- Assist in accounts receivable processes, including monthly sales reconciliation and statement of accounts to customers.
- Maintain and update monthly accounting journals, ledgers, and other records.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure proper filing of all financial documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to fulfill statutory and legal obligations.
- Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Accounts Manager.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Accounting or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, meet deadlines, and demonstrate initiative.
- Responsible, reliable, meticulous, and disciplined with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with accounting systems such as SQL and AutoCount.
- Ability to commute to the office near Old Klang Road, with nearby public transport.
