Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Liase with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries on matters related to audit, tax, and statutory requirements.
  2. Prepare full set of accounts with minimal supervision.
  3. Maintain proper accounting records and document control.
  4. Assist in accounts payable processes, including invoice matching, creditors' reconciliation, staff claims, and payment preparations.
  5. Assist in accounts receivable processes, including monthly sales reconciliation and statement of accounts to customers.
  6. Maintain and update monthly accounting journals, ledgers, and other records.
  7. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  8. Ensure proper filing of all financial documents.
  9. Assist in bank reconciliations.
  10. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to fulfill statutory and legal obligations.
  11. Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Accounts Manager.
Requirements:
  • A degree or diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, meet deadlines, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Responsible, reliable, meticulous, and disciplined with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as SQL and AutoCount.
  • Ability to commute to the office near Old Klang Road, with nearby public transport.
