Job Title: Electrician - Voids

Location: Basildon and surrounding areas

Salary: up to £38,000 + van and fuel card

We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a Void Electrician to join their team in Essex.

As an operative within the Social Housing sector, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with H&S and relevant regulations. Your role will focus on carrying out routine property maintenance, completing multiple jobs per day, and providing a best-in-class standard of customer service to tenants and their homes.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

1. Proven experience as an Electrician or Multi-Trader in social housing or a similar environment.
2. 18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations.
3. CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness certification.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
5. Experience using a PDA and good IT skills, including job scheduling software.
6. Willingness to undertake a DBS check with no unspent criminal convictions.
7. Full, UK manual driving license.
