Area Manager (Central) and Sales Lead
OBJECTIVE
- Lead the local team in sales, business development, patient care, and relations management with key doctors, hospitals, and NGOs in Klang Valley and other assigned areas.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop plans, set annual targets, allocate resources, and implement activities in Klang Valley and other coverage areas.
- Oversee outlets in Klang Valley and other areas, coordinating with finance, operations, and admin teams for smooth operations.
- Perform additional activities as required by the Company's GM from time to time.
Area/Region Responsibilities
- Identify and engage key hospital staff involved in breast surgery and cancer activities in the region.
- Implement the company's strategies in Klang Valley and other assigned areas.
- Maintain staff morale, coordinate training, and manage staff benefits.
Represent the company's leadership in Klang Valley and other areas for daily decisions.
Sales Lead Responsibilities
a) Sales Management
- Set sales targets, monitor sales performance, and motivate the sales team in Klang Valley and other areas.
- Prioritize resources for key customers and prospects.
- Identify underperforming sales initiatives and explore alternatives for improvement.
b) Relationship Management
- Build rapport with breast surgeons, oncologists, nurses, and NGOs.
- Act as a product champion, providing timely solutions to customers and patients.
- Offer after-sales service and technical assistance for products sold.
- Address customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
c) Education, Awareness, and Support
- Conduct Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions with healthcare professionals, supported by the marketing team.
- Present products to potential customers, including hospital social departments.
- Raise product awareness through cancer awareness campaigns with hospitals and NGO support groups.
d) Other Duties
- Perform any other duties assigned by the company or reporting supervisor.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Background in clinical nursing or allied health; oncology or palliative care experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years in sales.
- Experience in hospital, clinical, or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Passion for supporting cancer survivors and understanding the patient journey.
- Willingness to give presentations, communicate with patients, and negotiate with vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Willing to travel within the region.
